The YEAH Program is dedicated to nurturing the potential of young individuals through an approach that combines education, mentorship, and skill-building activities. Our program is designed to help young people develop a growth mindset which is accomplished by developing critical thinking and leadership abilities. By participating in YEAH, young people will gain the confidence needed to excel in both academic and professional settings.
We offer a variety of engaging workshops, hands-on projects, and community service opportunities that encourage personal growth and civic engagement. Our supportive environment ensures that every participant feels valued and motivated to pursue their goals.
Meet Dr. Joycelyn Wormley, DSW
Dr. Joycelyn Wormley created YEAH! to raise up young leaders who will make a lasting impact on society. As a former cheerleader, she discovered the power of using her voice to uplift and lead others. That same passion led her to earn a Doctorate in Social Work, where she became a fierce advocate for children and families.
YEAH! is the vision of a young person who mastered the art of resiliency, courage, and tenacity, blended with the insight of a trained professional. Each component of YEAH! reflects both lived experience and expert knowledge to empower the next generation of changemakers.
YEAH! Will be hosting a leadership camp on April 27, 2025 at Rosa Parks Middle School.
