The Stephens Foundation's Community Health, Advocate, Scientist, and Engineer (CHASEr) program is a dynamic workforce development designed to connect community residents with meaningful employment that aligns with their skills, interests, and desire to make a positive impact.
The program includes a Jr. CHASEr internship, offering individuals hands-on training and practical work opportunities to discover and hone their talents. Additionally, the CHASEr program features a self-certification process, enabling participants to qualify for roles that contribute to improving community health.
COMMUNITY HEALTH: The assessment of a physical environment's portrayal of identity, programs, and entertainment. A healthy community successfully connects people to resources and helps create identity.
Supports the development of positive community health by doing the following:
Has a knowledge on how to successfully implement strategies that produce positive community events and opportunities; and has the ability to teach people how to create the system that produces positive community health.
Successfully executes and implements events and programs that create the Community Health.
